MOTHER'S WRITE - CAMPAIGN AND SONG CAMP

THE CREATORS

In 2023, Mamas in Music was proud to partner with two incredible organizations, Girl Grind UK CIC and We Are The Unheard CIC, to support the launch of Mother's Write—the first songwriting camp in the UK designed specifically for emerging mother talent. This initiative was wrapped in a powerful campaign advocating for meaningful change in how mothers are perceived, represented, and treated in the music industry.

We were thrilled to be sponsored by Qube East and proudly funded by PRS, with additional endorsements and sponsorships from Levi's, Shure, and Neumann.

THE SONGWRITING CAMP

What's equality without equity?! Research has told us that the best way to empower both established and emerging mothers in music is to empower them financially in order to keep mums in the music industry at all levels. Mother's Write is starting with songwriters. Our songwriting camps aim to enable and support mother-songwriters with opportunities, networking and resources, to make high quality music in alignment for commercial synch.

The Music industry has a big TO DO LIST and at the top of ours is to advocate, champion, and celebrate the accomplishments of Mothers in Music.

Get in touch to find out how you can help support our songwriting camps. Keep an eye out for dates - coming soon!
