This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the mamas who inspire us every day. At Mamas in Music, we believe that being a mama is more than just a role—it’s a life-changing journey that demands courage, love, and unwavering commitment.

We asked 16 mamas in our community:"What does being a mama mean to you?" Along with their answers, they shared photos with their children—capturing the love, strength, and everyday moments that make up their unique journeys.

"After sitting and thinking about this question, I can say that being a mother means everything to me.  I never had the best relationship with my mother, and when I was growing up, I always said I didn’t want to have kids for that reason. Now, my perspective has changed. Now I get the privilege of raising and supporting two magnificent young ladies. I get to witness them discover themselves and guide them if and when they need it. Becoming a mother has taught me how to better love and nurture myself and others, so for that, I am eternally grateful. "
